ชาเขียว Happy Huizong

The story behind this tea—Emperor Huizong’s favorite—made me curious, and the flavor didn’t disappoint. It’s gentle, with a soft, slightly sweet finish that feels like a quiet ritual in a cup.

The brewing process feels like stepping into an old ceremony, and the cup has that gentle, calming sweetness you’d expect from a tea chosen by an emperor. It’s not a daily sipper for me, but for a quiet afternoon, it’s perfect.

The dry leaf aroma alone is a history lesson—sweet, hay-like, and calm, just as Huizong described in his treatise. Brewed gently, it's unbelievably smooth with no bitterness, almost like sipping a quiet emperor's afternoon. I've already ordered a second pouch.
