The buds arrived looking almost silvery-pale, and once steeped, that resinous, woody note really comes through with a soft floral sweetness underneath. It's a calm, grounding cup that somehow feels both ancient and fresh, perfect for a slow afternoon.
I’ve never had a white tea with this much depth—the resinous, woody backbone is unexpectedly bold, yet that floral sweetness keeps it surprisingly light and refreshing. The buds are so large and pale that they look almost ornamental in the cup, but the flavor is what really stuck with me.
The pale green buds are almost too pretty to brew, but once steeped, that resinous-woody depth pairs beautifully with the floral sweetness. It’s become my afternoon reset, and the liquor stays smooth even after a few infusions.
