The gentle heating process really makes a difference—this green rooibos tastes smooth and grassy, nothing like the heavy, oxidized version I'm used to. It's become my afternoon go-to when I want something calming but not too sleepy.
Took a chance on this because the whole "green rooibos" idea sounded odd, but the lack of oxidation really does keep it light and almost grassy, nowhere near as heavy as the red stuff. I've been brewing it iced in the afternoons and it's become a daily habit.
The gentle heat-processing keeps it light and almost grassy, with none of the heavy, woody notes I expect from regular rooibos. I've been brewing it every afternoon and it never turns bitter, even when I forget it in the pot for ten minutes.
