I was a bit skeptical about the metal filter, but it holds the tea leaves perfectly without any grit at the bottom. The borosilicate glass is clear and thick, so it’s survived my clumsy mornings so far.
The glass body feels so much sturdier than the ceramic mugs I’ve broken before, and the steel filter catches every last leaf without clogging. I’ve been using it every morning for a week and the tea steeps perfectly, then stays warm just long enough to finish.
The stainless steel filter keeps even the finest tea leaves out of my drink, which is exactly what I wanted for cold brews. I've used it every morning for two weeks now and the glass still looks brand new after all the washing.
